  • HOW TO AVOID AND REMOVE BLACKHEADS

Do you have problems with blackheads, those tiny black spots on your face? How do you get rid of them and make sure they do not return?

    HOW DO YOU GET BLACKHEADS?

Hormones cause the pores to produce excessive sebum, which prevents the sebum from getting to the surface of the skin normally and results in an overfull pore. Accumulated dead skin cells on the skin and in the pores narrow the “exit” of the pores so that the sebum cannot be secreted naturally. If the pore is still slightly open, the combination of excess sebum and dead skin cells is exposed to oxygen, which oxidises the mixture and turns it black.

    STEP-BY-STEP PLAN TO TREAT BLACKHEADS

    1. Use a mild, water-soluble cleanser on a soft, clean facecloth. Use this to gently exfoliate the surface of the skin.
    2. Choose skincare products that are in a gel form or light, liquid lotions whenever you can. Thick lotions and creams get their thick texture from ingredients that can block the pores.
    3. Every day, use a good exfoliant containing salicylic acid (also called BHA).
    4. Remove the excessive sebum. Absorb sebum by using a clay mask regularly on the oily parts of your face.

    AVOID IRRITATING INGREDIENTS

Many skincare products can actually encourage sebum production and make the problem worse. This is caused by ingredients that irritate the skin, such as alcohol, peppermint, menthol, lemon, lime or eucalyptus. Avoid products containing these ingredients. Do not use bars of soap either: the ingredients used to give soap its solid form can block your pores, irritate and dehydrate the skin.

    SCRUBBING?

Blackheads cannot be scrubbed away. They are too deep in the pores to be removed by scrubbing. Rubbing or scrubbing hard only causes irritation. And this, in turn, can lead to increased sebum production. Neither can you get blackheads out of you pores using a special ***. These strips only remove the part of the blackhead that is on the surface of the skin. Microdermabrasion does not help either; any visible improvement will be short lived.

    HOW TO REMOVE BLACKHEADS

    • Wash your face with a mild, water-soluble cleanser and then use a toner containing niacinamide that will help improve the shape of your pores.
    • Place a warm (not hot), damp facecloth on the areas of your face where you want to remove the blackheads for two to three minutes. Then gently pat the skin dry.
    • Use a comedone spoon. Place it over the blackhead, then gently apply downward pressure while pushing the spoon forwards.
    • Remove more of the blackhead by putting a tissue over your finger top and gently and evenly pushing down against the side of the blackhead.
    • Only do this once. If it does not work, then it means the blackhead cannot yet be removed. Don’t force it: if you do you risk wounding you skin and a creating a scab, which can lead to scar tissue. Try again in a few days.
    • Finish your treatment with a good exfoliant containing BHA (salicylic acid) and apply a product with sunscreen during the day to protect your skin from UV rays.

Make sure you never squeeze, push or scrape your skin too hard.

To cut through some of the confusion surrounding bitcoin, we need to separate it into two components. On the one hand, you have bitcoin-the-token, a snippet of code that represents ownership of a digital concept – sort of like a virtual IOU. On the other hand, you have bitcoin-the-protocol, a distributed network that maintains a ledger of balances of bitcoin-the-token. Both are referred to as “bitcoin.”

The system enables payments to be sent between users without passing through a central authority, such as a bank or payment gateway. It is created and held electronically. Bitcoins aren’t printed, like dollars or euros – they’re produced by computers all around the world, using free software.

It was the first example of what we today call cryptocurrencies, a growing asset class that shares some characteristics of traditional currencies, with verification based on cryptography.

    Network, Globe

    Who created it?

A pseudonymous software developer going by the name of Satoshi Nakamoto proposed bitcoin in 2008, as an electronic payment system based on mathematical proof. The idea was to produce a means of exchange, independent of any central authority, that could be transferred electronically in a secure, verifiable and immutable way.

To this day, no-one knows who Satoshi Nakamoto really is.

In what ways is it different from traditional currencies?

Bitcoin can be used to pay for things electronically if both parties are willing. In that sense, it’s like conventional dollars, euros, or yen, which are also traded digitally.

But it differs from fiat digital currencies in several important ways:

    1 – Decentralization

Bitcoin’s most important characteristic is that it is decentralized. No single institution controls the bitcoin network. It is maintained by a group of volunteer coders and run by an open network of dedicated computers spread around the world. This attracts individuals and groups that are uncomfortable with the control that banks or government institutions have over their money.

Bitcoin solves the “double spending problem” of electronic currencies (in which digital assets can easily be copied and re-used) through an ingenious combination of cryptography and economic incentives. In electronic fiat currencies, this function is fulfilled by banks, which gives them control over the traditional system. With bitcoin, the integrity of the transactions is maintained by a distributed and open network, owned by no-one.

    2 – Limited supply

Fiat currencies (dollars, euros, yen, etc.) have an unlimited supply – central banks can issue as many as they want, and an attempt to manipulate a currency’s value relative to others. Holders of the currency (and especially citizens with a little alternative) bear the cost.

With bitcoin, on the other hand, the supply is tightly controlled by the underlying algorithm. A small number of new bitcoins trickle out every hour and will continue to do so at a diminishing rate until a maximum of 21 million has been reached. This makes bitcoin more attractive as an asset – in theory, if demand grows and the supply remains the same, the value will increase.

    3 – Pseudonymity

While senders of traditional electronic payments are usually identified (for verification purposes, and to comply with anti-money laundering and other legislation), users of bitcoin, in theory, operate in semi-anonymity. Since there is no central “validator,” users do not need to identify themselves when sending bitcoin to another user. When a transaction request is submitted, the protocol checks all previous transactions to confirm that the sender has the necessary bitcoin as well as the authority to send them. The system does not need to know his or her identity.

In practice, each user is identified by the address of his or her wallet. Transactions can, with some effort, be tracked this way. Also, law enforcement has developed methods to identify users if necessary.

Furthermore, most exchanges are required by law to perform identity checks on their customers before they are allowed to buy or sell bitcoin, facilitating another way that bitcoin usage can be tracked. Since the network is transparent, the progress of a particular transaction is visible to all.

This makes bitcoin not an ideal currency for criminals, terrorists or money-launderers.

    4 – Immutability

Bitcoin transactions cannot be reversed, unlike electronic fiat transactions.

This is because there is no central “adjudicator” that can say “ok, return the money.” If a transaction is recorded on the network, and if more than an hour has passed, it is impossible to modify.

While this may disquiet some, it does mean that any transaction on the bitcoin network cannot be tampered with.

    5 – Divisibility

The smallest unit of a bitcoin is called a satoshi. It is one hundred millionth of a bitcoin (0.00000001) – at today’s prices, about one-hundredth of a cent. This could conceivably enable microtransactions that traditional electronic money cannot.

Read more to find out how bitcoin transactions are processed and how bitcoins are mined, what it can be used for, as well as how you can buy, sell and store your bitcoin. We also explain a few alternatives to bitcoin, as well as how its underlying technology – the blockchain – works.

    This:

    Sodium Chloride; NaCl; aka: SALT.

“This is partially simply due to the fact that “saltiness” is one of the five primary basic tastes the human tongue can detect. Those five tastes being: salt, bitter, sweet, sour, and umami (if you’re not familiar with this one, it is from glutamic acid, which is found in many foods, particularly some meats, and is the basis of the flavour enhancer monosodium glutamate, also known as MSG).

The extra salt has other effects as well though, outside of simply making things saltier. Particularly, adding salt to foods helps certain molecules in those foods more easily release into the air, thus helping the aroma of the food, which is important in our perception of taste.

Salt also has been shown to help suppress the bitter taste. So adding a bit of salt won’t just increase your salty taste perception, but will also decrease your bitter taste perception in any given food (which is why it is often sprinkled on grapefruit, for instance, before eating).”

In the US, you would generally need a business license to have a catering business. You would also need an inspection of the kitchen, and in-home kitchens would rarely qualify, for health reasons; you would generally need a commercial kitchen. You and any employees would have to pass tests of your knowledge about food safety, and have a clean health record. You would have to be able to charge customers a sales tax, in addition to the purchase price of their orders, and keep detailed records so that the state would be able to verify that you sent in the correct amount of tax. You would need to be familiar with state laws regarding hiring and paying employees.

Now, if you were just providing catering for a few close friends, you would not need all these things. As an example, the 16 year old daughter of a friend likes to bake, and when she has time, between school and other commitments, she sells homemade bagels, various types of bread, and occasional specialty items to relatives and friends. She did not need to be licensed, as she serves only a handful of families and bakes only episodically. Her operation is simply a sophisticated version of a child’s lemonade stand.

    Thanks for A2A.

For different sections you can follow different magazines, they are not very bulky so you can easily cover them :-

    1. If you are asking about current affairs then you can follow VAJIRAM or VISION magazines. + any PIB monthly compilation available online. ( These are hardly around 100 pages + if you read the hindu nicely , you will not feel difficulty covering these within 10 days )
    2. For Extra :- YOJANA is must, because it’s language will improve your answer writing too. & If you have optional related to governance/pub ad. Go through KURUKSHETR also. ( Both are hardly around 50–60 pages, so can be covered within a week)These two will cover govt initiatives in detail.
    3. I would not suggest you to burden up with a lot of magazines. I think above 3 combinations are more than enough. But if there are any other magazines you can have a look at , then they are SCIENCE REPORTER & EPW. BUT only if you have time. At last you can arrange their summaries to look at. ensure you cover atleast 1 current affairs magazine + pib + yojana ( for kurukshetr you can take up summaries available online )

So every month ,within 3 weeks you can cover all these if you read some pages daily ( 15–20 ) which is not a tough task. And in the last week you can revise all.

PayPal is a favorite tool for sending and receiving money online. It is one of the oldest services available, but whenever you link your financial accounts to an online service, security should be at the top of your mind. So how safe is PayPal?

For the most part, it’s safe to use the service and link accounts to PayPal, but it ultimately depends on what your concerns are.

    • Buyers will find that PayPal is an easy and secure way to make purchases.
    • Sellers can also benefit from using PayPal, but there are risks to be aware of. Those risks aren’t unique to PayPal, but some sellers are unaware of potential problems.
    • Money transfers make their way to the destination safely, but the question is whether or not you know who you’re sending money to.

    Is PayPal Safe for Buyers?

    © The Balance, 2018

For the most part, PayPal is safe when you use it to send money. Nothing is completely risk-free—glitches and data breaches are possible anywhere. But PayPal is a reputable company with enough security and consumer protection in place to keep you relatively safe online.

Data security: PayPal’s website is secure and encrypted. As long as you have a secure connection to the legitimate PayPal site, any information you exchange is hidden from prying eyes. PayPal uses industry-standard security features that you’d expect from any large financial institution, and the company even offers financial rewards to “white hat” hackers who discover vulnerabilities. It could get hacked, but it’d be tough.

A layer of protection: If you’ve ever used your credit card online or handed a check to a merchant, you’ve taken just as much risk as you take when you provide that information to PayPal. If you didn’t know, thieves can find your bank account and routing numbers on any personal check, and they can (try to) use that information to get money from your checking account.

Using PayPal might even be safer than giving your credit card number or bank account information directly to the website you’re buying from. Why? You keep that information in one place—at PayPal—instead of spreading it around everywhere you shop. If something happens, you won’t need to cancel your cards and update all of your automatic billers. You can just secure your PayPal account by changing your password or card number.

    Tips for Safe Buying

Take precautions to ensure that your personal and financial information stays safe.

    • Keep software up-to-date on your computer or mobile device—especially security software.
    • Avoid public Wi-Fi for financial transactions, including managing or even viewing your PayPal account. Use mobile data instead if you’re out and about.
    • Use a credit card as your funding method instead of a debit card or direct bank transfer (more on that below).
    • Use a dedicated computer for financial transactions if you want to be especially safe. Don’t use that device for surfing and social media.
    • Be wary of links in emails.  Phishing scams may feature messages that appear to come from PayPal but really link to impostor sites that steal your account information.

    Disputes and Fraud

What happens if somebody spends money from your PayPal account without your permission, or if you pay for an item that never arrives?

Buyer Protection: PayPal’s Buyer Protection and Account Protection programs might reimburse you. To take advantage, you need to report the transaction quickly, but Buyer Protection does not cover all transactions. Buyer Protection is similar to the benefits you get with a credit card: You can reverse the charges if the seller fails to deliver what was promised.

Before you rely on Buyer Protection, read PayPal’s policies to ensure that the service is available for any payment that you’re concerned about. Some transactions are not eligible.

Funding method: For extra protection, it’s a good idea to complete PayPal purchases with a credit card (use your card as the funding mechanism—not an “instant transfer” from your bank account, debit card, or PayPal balance). Why? If PayPal decides not to refund your money, you can try disputing the transaction again with your credit card issuer. What’s more, a credit card is not linked directly to your bank account like a debit card, so you won’t have an empty account while you clean up the mess.

All that said, paying for purchases with PayPal is likely much safer than paying with Western Union or wiring money—those payments cannot be reversed.

    Is PayPal Safe for Sellers?

You naturally want every transaction to result in mutual gain, but what’s good for buyers isn’t always good for sellers.

If you run a business, it’s important to get paid for the products and services you provide. So is it safe to rely on PayPal for processing customer payments?

Most businesses that accept payments with PayPal find it to be perfectly safe. They get paid more or less as they expect, and fraud is little more than a rare annoyance. However, there are plenty of horror stories from sellers who feel that PayPal hung them out to dry. There are two sides to every story, but there are enough stories out there that businesses should take notice before assuming that PayPal is safe.

Disputed charges: The main risk to sellers is the ease with which customers can dispute charges. Customers can claim that goods never arrived or that you did not deliver what you promised, and PayPal seems to assume that the customer is (almost) always right. You can plead your case, but you’ll need solid proof to get PayPal to decide in your favor.

This risk is not unique to PayPal. Customers can also reverse credit card chargeseasily. However, for whatever reason, PayPal seems to have a reputation for being especially difficult to work with. Perhaps that reputation is well-deserved, or perhaps there is just a vocal minority.

Customers dispute payments for several reasons:

    • The payment was genuinely fraudulent (the customer’s account was hacked, for example).
    • A shipment never arrived safely.
    • A customer was dissatisfied with your product.

So, what can you do to protect yourself? Be careful about how you sell and who you sell to. Expensive items are (not surprisingly) the most appealing targets for thieves. To reduce the odds of a problem, try the following:

    • Ship only to verified addresses.
    • Avoid delivering goods in-person. It’s better to have proof of delivery from UPS or a similar shipper if you want PayPal to side with you.
    • Require a signature for expensive items.
    • Clearly explain what you’re selling, including any confusing features or limitations that make customers unhappy. Include photos of any defects or damage. Surprises are not a good thing.
    • Communicate with unhappy customers promptly and politely.

In the past, businesses selling intangibles or charging fees for service were immune to Buyer Protection problems. That’s no longer the case. So, be sure to document your communications so that you can provide proof to PayPal if there’s a dispute.

    FDIC Insurance?

Your PayPal balance is typically not FDIC-insured. PayPal has explored ways to offer pass-through protection to customers, but coverage is not broadly available. As a result, if PayPal became insolvent, it’s possible that you’d lose money stored in your PayPal balance. If that concerns you, keep your balance low, and transfer funds to your bank account as soon as possible.

PayPal is not a replacement for a fully-functioning bank account. If you can’t qualify for a bank account, other financial products, including some prepaid debit cards, may offer similar features along with FDIC insurance on your savings.

Also, it saves you the risk of installing an application on someone’s smartphone. Another reason why it is ideal is that it is completely legitimate and legal. Why? Because it utilizes Facebook’s built system to spy on your chosen account. To make the most out of this method on how to hack someone’s facebook account, you will have to try logging into the account using its Facebook identity. Here is how to use this method to access and control a Facebook account:

    • To begin your spying mission to control your target user’s Facebook account, you will need to get the email address the person used to register their Facebook account. If you are more knowledgeable in this area, you can use hacking tools like Harvester to collect all the login information you require for your mission. If are planning to hijack the account of someone close to you, then there is no reason to fret about these details. In addition, you can take advantage of the naivety of some people who display their email addresses on their Facebook accounts.
    • Afterward, you need to open the target user’s login page. Thereafter, you have to click forgotten password. This action will let you see an account name popup. Afterwards, you ought to tap on the popup for more prompts to take further action.
    • Afterwards, Facebook will ask you to give your recovery email address to which it will send a link to reset the password. Since you lack access to the email address, you will click a link that tells the system that you do not have access to the details it is asking you to provide.
    • Next, the browser will request you to give it an alternative email address it can use to reach you. In response, you will have to give the system another email address that does not have any connection with the Facebook account you want to monitor.
    • However, you have to understand that the system will not just let you off the hook that easily. The reason is that it will also ask you a few questions to prove that you own the account whose password you are trying to reset. Here, a few things will save you and make your process easier. For instance, if you know the target user close enough, then it will be easier to guess correct answers to the questions the system will throw at you. If you answer those questions correctly, then it will be easy to change the password without the real account owner detecting it.
    • Because you can fail in the previous stage, you still have one more opportunity to change the password. Here, you can use your friends to assist you in resetting the password. With the friends option, you will select three friends and create fake Facebook accounts in their names and using their details. Armed with these fake accounts, it will be easy to evade the previous roadblock because Facebook will contact those “friends” for confirmation.
    • After succeeding with the process—either using guesswork or friends—you will get an email notification sent to the alternative email address you gave. From there, you may reset the password and access the account you want to monitor.

The pros of the manual method:

As simple as it may sound, this method has its own unique advantages that are exclusive to it. Here are some of them:

    • It is very easy to use since it does not require any technical skills or experience to succeed in it;
    • It is an efficient method for those who don’t want complex things and techniques;
    • It is 100% free of charge;
    • It is safe to use;
    • It is reliable as long as the other person does not detect it.

The cons of the manual method:

Despite its pros, this method has a few notable shortcomings. Here are some of them:

    • It is necessary to have access to the target user’s mobile phone or email address;
    • You must have the target user’s Facebook ID to access their account;
    • The victim of the hacking will discover it along the way—soon or later;
    • Since you will be tracking the account personally, when the person discovers it they could trace the IP address to your device, unless they are tech-savvy. You can only beat this possibility if you use another person’s device to track it or you will be accessing it using a public computer in a cyber café.

What’s your focus? Travelling is a fast growing trend, those who experience the desire to constantly travel are victims of pure wanderlust. New generations want to connect with other people all around the world, their food, their places, their architecture, they feel an intense urge to self-develop by experiencing the unknown, unforeseen challenges, and getting to know unfamiliar cultures. A recent study done by Airbnb states that millennials would spend more on acquiring new experiences (travelling basically) than on big purchases like buying a house.

Why not start a travelling magazine, you could focus on food, on a community, on architecture, and much more! You would probably need sponsors to star travelling and document your experiences, you can start locally to make it easier. Look for tools to make your life easier like a magazine cover maker, that way you don’t spend a fortune on designing assets!

Absolutely. Most Americans do not understand the capital investment for equipment (machines that process 35,000 + letters an hour and read all kinds of print and hand-writing and purchasing a large fleet of delivery vehicles), the cost of training personnel to main these machines and preventive maintenance for a large fleet, along with daily cost of fuel for this huge fleet, cost of labor for postal clerks and letter carriers, etc.

How to create a custom ‘Google Map’

By Martin ShervingtonNovember 28, 2014Google My Business

    Map creation

Thanks to Rey Ley for proving this information for fellow PYB member!

Creating a map is a fairly simple process when you have the correct information:

    1. Enter into Google Maps Engine https://www.google.com/maps/
    2. Sign in by pressing the Sign in button in the top right corner of the map
    3. Make sure the search box is empty then click inside it.
    4. Click My Maps.
    5. Click the Create button
    6. If you choose to open a previously created map the Open Map dialogue will appear. Select maps you’d like to work on from Created by me, Shared with me, or Classic My Maps. (As all products of Google maps is a work in progress and part of a suite of solutions)

    Import data

    1. Open an existing or new map in My Maps.
    2. Make sure the correct layer is selected in blue in the legend on the left.
    3. Click Import. You can import CSV, TSV, KML, or XLSX files, classic My Maps, or spreadsheets from Google Drive.
    4. Drag a file from your computer, select a Google Drive file or open a previous My Maps map.
    5. Click Choose a file to upload.
    6. Pick one column that identifies the location of your data.
    7. Click Continue.
    8. Pick a single column to label the data on the map, then click Finish.

You can add and edit information in an info window on the map:

    • Multiple photos
    • Multiple videos
    • Column data (such as description, price, or website)
    • Google Maps details
    • Open text
    1. Click the placemark, shape, or line on the map you want to edit.
    2. Click the edit icon edit in the info window that appears on the map.
    3. Click the drop-down menu drop-down arrow to add the column information that will be the name or description.
    4. Click the camera icon to add images or videos. You will see the following options:
    • Google Image Search: Type your keywords in the search box and click the Search button. Choose the image then click Select.
    • Image URL: Paste an image URL then click Select.
    • Video Search: Type your keywords in the search box and click the Search button. Choose the video then click Select.
    • YouTube URL: Paste a YouTube URL then click Select.
    • Note that you always click the plus icon to go back and add multiple images or videos.
    • Click Save. Your changes will appear in the table view as well.

    NOTE:

You can ONLY upload images or videos that are on the web, BUT if your photos are on Google Drive you just need open Google Drive on your browser and select the file where the picture is stored click on it and click on the top right  corner on the LINK icon, get the URL and paste it on the box.

The most fundamental problem of your test application is that you call srand once and then call rand one time and exit.

The whole point of srand function is to initialize the sequence of pseudo-random numbers with a random seed. It means that if you pass the same value to srand in two different applications (with the same srand/rand implementation) you will get exactly the same sequence of rand() values read after that. But your pseudo-random sequence consists of one element only – your output consists of the first elements of different pseudo-random sequences seeded with time of 1 second precision. So what do you expect to see? When you happen to run application on the same second your result is the same of course (as Martin York already mentioned in a comment to the answer).

Actually you should call srand(seed) one time and then call rand() many times and analyze that sequence – it should look random.
