For this question im just answering in SRH point of view, not considering or comparing with any other team.

David warner, Jhony Bairstow, Wridhiman saha,Martin Guptil.

We all know how dangerous David warner is in Ipl. He had scored 400+ runs consistently in past few seasons and regarded as most reliable batsman for SRH

JHONY had a great IPL 2019,where he scores run for fun. He played 10 games for SRH where he scored 445runs in a Average of 55, along with his best score of 114 Against RCB.

Saha and Guptil will be the backup openers who are decent batsmen who can hit long balls.

Drawback: I can’t see any flaws in the openers, as for as Jhony and Warner are there, they are my first priority.

2.No.3 and No.4 Spots:

Williamson & Manish Pandey.

Williamson is a Match winner, he can take your team to win, just by playing classic shots.

Manish Pandey doesn’t seems to be in great touch at start of the tournament but had finished the tournament in high note. He will try to replicate it in upcoming tournament.

Drawbacks: In spinning conditions like Chennai and kolkata, SRH need a extra spinner who can bat (Shakib, Nabi) that will limit the chance for Kane to play in team.

Rashid Khan, Bhuwaneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, Siddharth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma, Shahbaz Nadeem,Billy Stanlake.

Rashid Khan will be the key bowler of the side along with Bhuvi and Khaleel, the bowling looks balanced and dangerous with these squad.

They also have the Tall Aussie Billy Stanlake who will be available for them in next season.

Nadeem will provide the extra spinner option will pitches like chennai. He is a decent wicket taker.

Drawbacks: Bhuvi was not in good form in last IPL, so he have to bounce back. Sandeep is a wicket taker but he should try to bowl some economical spells. And again 4 foreign players option, won’t give a perfect place for Billy stanlake in Playing 11.

4.All Rounders:

Mohammed Nabi, Shakib al Hasan,Vijay Shankar, Deepak Hooda, Yusuf Pathan.

With David Warner, Jhony Bairstow and Kane Williamson in the top order and Rashid as Bowler, there is no option for them to play Shakib and Nabi in the team. (unless they rest Kane)

Vijay shankar is growing as a player, his fielding is awesome but he can’t bowl you economical spell and also not very consistent with the bat.

Deepak Hooda is also someone who bowls occasionally(not a wicket taker though) and never be consistent in his whole IPL carrier.

Yusuf pathan is not getting bowling now a days and playing as a batsman in the team but not impressed anyone as a batsman.

Drawbacks: Now you can understand, where SRH is behind other teams like Mumbai and Chennai. SRH don’t have a quality indian all rounders who can consistently bat and take wickets. They should overcome this to win matches.

This team has a solid top order and good bowling attack, but lack of lower order batsmen and a all-rounder will become a pain in ass for this team.

What should they do?

According to me they just have to take a good all-rounder who can do both Batting and bowling decently. May be inclution of a good hitter at lower order will give balance.

Players they can take to balance their side:

1.Manoj Tiwari: He can give solid support to the middle order and his experience will surely help them.

2.James Neesham: The Kiwi all-rounder can bowl his quota of 4overs and can bat lower the order.

3. Chris Wokes: He is one of the Underrated player, whose all-round skills will definitely allow the team to play freely. He can take wickets, also he is good hitter of the ball. (recently he had batted at no.3 for england and also opened the bowling).

My playing 11:

David warner.(c)
Johny Bairstow(wk)
Manish Pandey.
Shakib al Hasan.
Vijay Shankar.
Yusuf Pathan.
Deepak Hooda.
Rashid Khan.
Bhubaneswar Kumar.
Khaleel Ahmed
Sandeep sharma.
Shakib is included because of his recent form in worldcup.

(surely some balance is needed in squad to win tittle, need someone to replace Yusuf and Hooda in this squad.)

Hey thanks for asking

Yeah if they perform better in a game before than last year sure they will win IPL

But they lack some consistent indian players

Yusuf Pathan is not good at bag and field in this year

Manish Pandey performed good after leaving of both openers

Ok My best playing XI for SRH IPL 2020

1)David Warner (c)(O)

2)Johnny Bairstow (wk)(O)

3)Manish Pandey

4)Shakib Al Hasan (O)

5)Vijay Shankar

6)Deepak HUDA

7)Srivatsava Goswami

8)Rashid Khan (O)

9) Abhishek Sharma

10) Bhuvaneshwar Kumar

11)Khaleel Ahmed

Hope this playing XI will help for SRH to win Ipl
