  1. As a large country with humongous population we have a variety of people having their own likes and dislikes so yes some sections of people do watch PSL. But most people mostly enjoy international encounters as sense of fellow country men playing as a team creates attachment and give competition a patriotic flavour. IPL being local star studded league, no doubt, has larger viewership in India than any other cricket league around the globe. But that doesn’t mean that no Indian follows PSL

  2. If I had to take a wild guess, I would say about 1–3% of regular Indian cricket spectators watch PSL. Although PSL was on Indian TV this season for the first time ever, the channels they were shown on, i.e. DSport and Rishtey Cineplex, are not common among cable/DTH providers and is usually unavailable or a paid channel.

    That being said, I did watch a few matches and was very much disappointed with the below par commentators and quality of batsmen in season 3 of PSL.
