  1. Let me tell you a story.

There are two brothers, who have lived all their lives together. They got married, had children, grand children and even great grand children; but still lived under one roof. The younger generations of the two brothers do not go along well, so the peace of the remains disturbed. One day, the family of the younger brother decides to separate. The elder brother is not happy with it and wants to live together. The younger brother believes the longer they live together the more unrest will exist since their younger children always fight. He, thus, believes they cannot live together.

There is a huge wall created within the house. Some members of the family miss their cousins, some cannot help but hate them, and some are just fine. Sometimes they fight, sometimes they exchange greetings and sometimes they join hands for mutual benefit.

    Sounds familiar?

This is the relation between Pakistan and India. Many of us hate our neighbours, many of us love each other and for many of us these are just like any other two countries, but when something bad happens in any of the side. Everything is secondary we pray, worry and cry for each other. Although a few who have intense hate seem to be fine, still majority of us care for the other.

    Now, back to the question

Yes, Pakistanis love Indians. Many of us do. A lot of us don’t too, but even the ones who don’t still care. Then, there are some, who hate each other to a level that everything else is secondary. There are a few of the last group, so not to worry.

    Do I love Indians?

Yes, I do. I have a few Indian friends. Some of them so close to my heart that we know each other like we lived right next to each other’s houses.
