Well, I can’t say conclusively regarding the popularity or fame of dishes but I would like to mention few of those which I love to relish. So, the cuisine is going to be in accordance with my taste. I will tell about the traditional dishes of my hometown.
Worth mentioning dishes of my own backyard are:
Dhodha:
It is a confection often termed as the ‘king of halvas’. It consists of wheat, baked in milk and pure animal fat. The dough is cooked till it turns iron-red.
Sohbat:
This is a famous feast of my native area. It consists of meat gravy (tikka masala), poured on the bed of hot bread
