The admins of a Facebook page might be able to submit a request to receive a verification badge.
When it comes to the blue verification badge on Facebook, only a few selected public figures and brands have these, as the reason why there are verification badges in the first place is to help brands and celebrities to be distinguished from all the fake profiles and to be instantly found.
Note that there is a difference between blue and grey verification badges on Facebook.
When it comes to grey badges, you can, as mentioned earlier, request to receive a badge, however, not all Pages are eligible for Page verification. So if your page isn’t eligible for a grey verification, you won’t be able to submit a request for the badge.
At the moment though, it isn’t possible to request a verification badge, most likely because they’ve received so many requests.
This is what Facebook says about the blue verification badge:
“The blue verification badge lets people know that a Page or profile of public interest is authentic.
We apply the blue verification badge to eligible brands, media organizations and public figures. Eligibility for the blue verification badge is based on a variety of factors, such as account completeness, policy compliance and public interest.
Requesting a blue verification badge isn’t available right now.
If your account doesn’t have a blue verification badge, there are other ways to help let people know that you’re authentic. For example, you can link to your Facebook profile or Page from your official website, Instagram profile or Twitter account.
Never engage with individuals or businesses that offer to secure you a blue verification badge in exchange for money. We don’t sell blue verification badges, and any accounts associated with selling blue verification badges will have their badges removed. We also reserve the right to remove the blue verification badge from accounts at our discretion.”
Facebook says this if you aren’t able to request a verification badge, or don’t have one:
