If China and the USA went to war, would Russia be on China’s side or would Russia be on America’s side and help us defeat China?

If China could hold her own, Russia would be neutral.

If China couldn’t put up a fight and losing the war is inevitable. Russia would have no choice but to help China at all cost.

For the last 70 years the US has shown Russia nothing but hostility. And that is not going to change. What do you think would happen if the US won the war and made China her new lapdog? Russia will be next and this time, completely all alone. The only alliance feasible to hold the US back is no longer an option.

Imagine how many new US military bases, missile launcher sites and airbases can US build along China Russian border. While at the other side, US has NATO and her puppet nations like Ukraine. Imagine how easy for the US to isolate Russia economically since China’s human and natural resources we’re now under US control.

There is a Chinese idiom: Like a tiger that has grown wings. That’s exactly what the US would become with China in her pocket.

So. Russia cannot afford to let China conquered by the US. Helping China would be the only option. The “now or never” kind of choice.
