If Muslims are allowed to wage wars only in defence, then what was the reason of the early Muslim Conquests?

If Christians aren’t allowed to kill and should love their neighbour, then what was the reason for Hitler to attempt a complete genocide of Jewish people and take over neighbouring countries?

Same answer. Ignorance and pervertion of the doctrine to suit personal geopolitical and ideological interests.

They cherry-pick parts from the qur’an and the bible and use them to prove their purpose. Hitler wrote in his book that he was doing the Lord’s work, and I’m pretty certain that the muslims of that time said the same thing.

Just further proof that having religion doesn’t make you more ethical than not having one; if anything, religion can make you more unethical, way more apparently.
