  1. There at least 8 different B vitamins, which come in different forms, and there are more if you include choline, PABA, and inositol, and all 8 official B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, and B12) are all very different and not closely related to each other.

    If you are “low”, deficient or insufficient in any of them, you get health problems, and the problems and symptoms vary widely depending on how “low” you are and for how long, which B vitamin it is, and it’s not pretty and can be extremely unpleasant.
