Is Shaheed Bhagat Singh mentioned in Pakistan's history book? Is he a national hero to them as well?

He is mentioned in some of their history books. There is a square in Lahore named after him, but there was a proposal to change that.

Bhagat Singh is not considered to be a hero by all Indians. He was a communist, who wanted to overthrow the British rule in India using violent revolution, and then substitute it with a communist dictatorship like in the USSR. He had no time for democracy, saying that it will only replace the gora sahibs with brown sahibs.
