There’s a lot of traffic from both sides. Here are the reasons for that traffic:

The most common is for religious and spiritual reasons. Muslims visit India for Ajmer Sharif, Darul Uloom Deoband and there are many other sites as well. In return, many Sikhs and Hindus visit Pakistan for their spiritual sites such as Nankana Sahib, Panja Sahib, Katas Temple and many others.
Second is trade. Pakistan sends many agri products to India such as onions, fruits etc. and imports spices and dry fruits. Many industrial items also get traded.
Many people have relatives on both sides. In fact, Pakistan Cricket Team’s captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s own mamoo lives in UP. Most of Pakistani Hindu and Sikh community also have relatives in India so there’s a lot of traffic of these people.
Then there are tourists. Many international tourists visit both countries so they take these flights as well local tourists visit. Although this traffic is minimal because both countries do not encourage people to visit the other country.
There’s also a small group who travel to India for medical purposes, but that is a very low demographic.
