People say it would be unethical to farm endangered animals for fur and ivory, but nobody says why. What makes farming cows, chickens, and pigs more ethical? Do people find it wrong to farm tigers and elephants because they are told to find it wrong?

Well first it is much more expensive to farm exotic animals and I’m guessing people find it unethical because they are more beautiful than farm animals. Remember how as a kid you had a picture book with farm animals, did those have tigers and elephants. I’m guessing no, it is ingraved in them as children and psychology is a difficult thing. That’s why there is so many illigal animal hunting for these animals when farming them is certainly much more ethical and better for conservation.
