1.) Mahabharat :: Talks about the History of Gandhar and other kingdoms.

2.) History of Chanakya :: How Acharya Chanakya defeated the Greeks with the help of Chandragupta Maurya.

3.) Indian Independence Movement.

4.) History of the Sikhs, starting from Guru Nanakji to Guru Gobind Singhji.

5.) History of the Sindhi community.

My choices might be a bit Unorthodox but It does helpto personalize Pakistani History but also it doesn’t strictly follow a linear timeline or the standard format of history books but would be a combination of memoirs and travel works (like William Darymple) :

A Hard Country: Pakistan by Anatol Lieven
Songs of Blood and Sword:A Memoir by Fatima Bhutto
My Feudal Lord by Tehmina Durrani
A man to Match his mountains: Badshah Khan by Eknath Easwaran (My favourite on this list)
