I can think of these 2 places that you can visit in Malaysia:
Kenyir Lake
Kenyir Lake is the largest man-made lake that is surrounding 340 islands, in Southeast Asia. There are 30 rivers and more than 20 waterfalls connecting to the lake and it is home to many fishes. The lake is located by a dense forest and limestone caves including Taman Negara. This lake can be reached by a bus from Terengganu’s Sultan Mahmud Airport. Some activities that you can try in this area are canoeing, trekking and fishing.
Jerejak Island
Once a prison and home for leprosy patients, this island has now become a part of Malaysia’s history and what remain here are ruins from the past. You can, however, try out various adventure activities in this island like trekking, rock climbing and even mountain biking
