  1.

    Sympathy for students.
We are so, so tired. Many of us have lost all motivation to complete school. It isn’t enjoyable anymore.
If I were to describe the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the word “school” I just think of stressful exams and high expectations from parents and teachers.
It’s hard to get a full night’s sleep when you’re assigned so much homework.
The subjects we are taught are shoved down our throats, whether we like it or not. A majority of students have developed depression or anxiety; we are burnt out. Even the boys and girls that seem to have it all: school clubs, good grades, a social life, etc. aren’t happy at all.
We are just kids. We want to run around and play in the grass, explore our world, make friends; how are we supposed to do that when we are tied to our desks staring at our textbooks for 8+ hours a day?

People live with different circumstances or situations that others can’t possibly understand or relate to. The school system treats all students the same; they don’t take into account that each mind works differently, or that people have other things going on in their lives that are more important to them than school. Yet our grades determine who we are as people.
