What is Sindh?

Sindh is a Southern Province of Pakistan. It is known for it’s metropolitan capital Karachi and it’s seaside ports. It has the Thar desert, where the weather is dry and hot. It also contains the Southern part of the Indus Plain, which is green and flat and has the Indus river flowing through it. The Indus river is discharged into the Arabian Sea via some marshy land called the Indus Delta, which also exists in Sindh. Culturally, the people of Sindh speak, can you guess it? Yes, Sindhi. Sindhi people also revere the craft of carpet making and have some very beautiful indigenous patterns.
