  1. After the war a lots of German officers were interviewed about their experiences fight US, British and Soviet forces. They hated fighting the Americans for this reason-

    the British would careful scout, then soft up a target with artillery before an infantry attack. They’d leave off after dark and stop for tea at 4 o’clock. The Germans knew where they are with them.

    The Russians would scout, bombard and send infantry randomly. Sometimes they bombard their own artillery. But the Germans knew where they would attack.

    the Americans would scout one place, fire artillery at another place, and then attack in a totally separate place. The Germans never knew what was going on!!!
