Hypocrisy, inconsistency and double standards.

You cant buy alcohol without a license from the government (you wont get it if you are a Muslim)- But prostitution is very common and right in your face!
However you can buy alcohol at the airports arrivals duty free – doesn’t matter what religion you are.
The country was (is being) built by foreign workers from India, Pakistan, Philippines. They get paid extremely low wages and sometimes not even get paid without legal action (which they cant afford). According to Islamic practices you are supposed to pay any worker “before the sweat on his brow dries”
The living standards and treatment of foreign labourers is bad – the people who made/built Dubai what it is today are 3rd class citizens and treated as such.
Beneath the high-rise buildings and shining glass exteriors – Dubai has issues that are suppressed and not discussed.
