Our respective countries were divided because of the ambitions of two crooked men – Jawaharlal Nehru and Mohammed Ali Jinnah. Both these men in their life time left behind many issues which remains unsolved till this day. Kashmir is one among them.
Pakistan after partition was particularly better off economically than India. But over a period of time, slowly but steadily India made progress and stands tall today among the successful economies around the work. Sadly Pakistan fell into a trap laid down by the US to counter the Soviet Union and Gen. Zia-ul-Haq happily tripped onto it to avenge Pakistan’s loss in the 1971 War with India. Pakistan with their vengeance filled heart and mind slowly slipped to become the terrorism capital of the world whereas India has become the IT Capital of the world.
The educated Pakistani society should realise Kashmir can’t be won by Pakistan. Their investment on groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba will further add to their burden and miseries which will hurt their common peace loving people. Let them invest in developing tourism so that Indians can travel to Pakistan and enjoy Pakistan and their food.
Long story short – Urge your government to curb terrorism directed at India and spend that money on the social and economic development of Pakistan. Because if Pakistan doesn’t curb, we will not hold back even if it costs us our lives.
