  1. Biggest mistake…..engaging in a fight for little or no reason. I won’t engage in a real street fight unless I absolutely have to….and it has happened about 8 or 9 times in my life. – But this funny story happened to me….went to bar with 2 friends some 38 years ago. I’m having a nice chat with a young lady at the bar while my 2 friends are playing pool. Something occurred at the pool table and my “friend” Tommy comes to me requesting I join him in a soon to be fight. (I have a wrestling/boxing/close quarter combat /weighlifting background). I ask, “What are you fighting about?” He responds that they accused him of stealing their beer. Hmmm? I tell Tommy…”Go buy him a beer”. Tommy vehemently replies, “No way…c’mon…let’s go (fight).” I say to him, “ For what? I’m not risking my teeth even if I kick someones butt”. Tommy calls me a faggot….I say to Tommy, “I’ll fight YOU right now…how’s that?” “What?” Tommy yells. I reiterate…yeah…I’ll fight you. Now Tommy’s all confused on top of his alcohol braveness and just calls me a faggot and walks away. – I forgot that story until I read this question…young and dumb (and shitfaced). – ONLY FIGHT WHEN ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
