Sir Gary Sobers broke the world test record against Pakistan in 1958 by scoring 365 not out in a test match played in the West Indies. That was actually his first century as well. Gary Sobers is considered the finest all rounder in cricket history, he is also the first player to hit 6 sixes in an over achieved in 1968 in a county match playing for Nottinghamshire against Glamorgan. He was a pace bowler as well as a spin bowler. His record of 365 not out stood till another West Indies batsman Brian Lara broke it in 1994 with 375.
