Why do we do the same thing over knowing the outcome?

Because our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, subjective nature runs us in a loop, driving us through the same mistakes, forcing us to fall into the same this again and again.

We can’t learn from our mistakes and change track, as for that we would need to rise above, work against our inherent egos, which the ego doesn’t allow.

We need a very special method which can help us liberate ourselves from the ego – while shrewdly utilizing the ego to a breaking point where it let’s go – so we could finally make choices, act above, against our blind instincts that have been governing our behavior so far.
