Why is Canada not accepting Pakistani nationals to come to Canada?

Canada accepts a few thousand Pakistani immigrants every year. It’s basically impossible for the average Pakistani individual to get enough points to satisfy the strict criteria of the Canadian immigration system – only the elite few qualify. Pakistan has a very good education system…. For the very few children of the oligarchy who are lucky enough to study at the top institutions. They may qualify, if they speak excellent English or French, and have an advanced degree. Then there are background checks; any family history of Islamist militancy is likely enough to disqualify a candidate.

Canada is in the fortunate position of drawing the world’s best people as immigrants. Our country can afford to be very choosy indeed, and aside from a limited number of refugees – who are also screened carefully to weed out the war criminals and radicals – only an elite few are accepted from any single country.

The Pakistanis that do make it here tend to be quite successful. Pakistani medical professionals, engineers, and business owners are all represented in our communities. If you want to come here, you have to bring valuable skills and a solid work ethic. Study hard and good luck!
