Quite interesting suggestions. I think the world would be much better placed because both India-Pakistan and Israel – Palestine suffering from paired minority conflict where both sides consider oneself as a victim while other as the aggressor.

In the diplomatic community both the problem is considered as Mission impossible. So looking from this grim perspective this is just the ultimate solution.

But now let’s move on to the real world. Even though it seems an idealistic solution but it itself suffers from a number of flaws

    • Even Though it seems a religious problem but it’s more a complex problem which involves land, resources, vested interest, external forces( China in case of Indo-Pak and USA in case of Israel)
    • In Mandal theory of Kautilya “ Neighbours are natural enemy due to the greed of land, influence etc. Further Israel has extremely Realist foreign policy. So I am not that optimist that if Israel replaces Pakistan we have extremely good relations.

In essence I believe any neighbour is better than Pakistan but to switch place with Israel is not a good option either.
